Gertrude & Ivy worked with the team at Brickwood to open their first venue in Clapham: a relaxed, Australian style coffee shop – the first of its kind in SW4.
As a new business, the Brickwood strategy included brainstorming the name, inspired by textures inside the venue – particularly the original railway sleeper bar and table tops. The brand colours were inspired by their now iconic green coffee machine, carried through to their coffee cups and interior.
Alongside Social Media Marketing services, Gertrude & Ivy supported all brand building activities and created the website, managed design for all print media and external signage.
Brickwood has now opened two further venues in south London: Balham and Tooting. The venue has won several awards, including the Lambeth Business Award “Best Place to Eat & Drink 2014”.
