My Favourite Foodstagrammers
For many people the start of a new year means ‘Dryanuary’ and detoxing, but for these foodstagrammers it’s all about the retoxing and feasting. Instagram encourages all things visual and creative, it has always been a platform where users showcase their wonderful plates of food. I like food. No, I love food, so thanks to Instagram I can indulge in some food porn whenever I want! Here are a selection of my favourites.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but for Michael Zee, the brains behind Symmetry Breakfast, it’s also the prettiest. Unlike other Instagrammers whose images are a mixture of homemade meals and restaurant ones, Zee, cooks every single breakfast dish himself. Every. Single. Dish. His dedication really is something to be marvelled at. He wakes up early and creates these wonderful breakfasts for him and his boyfriend. They’re all so innovative and much more elaborate than my usual rushed tea and toast in the morning!

Matt the List is also a keen food blogger and his Instagram account let’s us go on his foodie adventures with him. Often Instagramming whilst live at the restaurants I feel his photos really tell the story of each place and his close up shots allow me to see every mouthwatering detail of the dishes. Matt is a regular at new restaurant openings and pop-ups so his Instagram page is littered with images of the new foodie hot spots around London.

I feel like Mondomulia’s photos speak for themselves – they are beautiful and each dish looks irresistible. Food can often be a tricky one to photograph but Mondomulia has got it down to a T and each photo makes my tummy rumble with jealousy. Her use of hashtags is limited but the posts are always accompanied by rich descriptions. I love how most of her photos are taken from a birds eye view so I can see the full array of dishes.
