It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
I don’t know about you, but I feel like the last year has flown by. Back in December 2013
I was freelancing and had not yet rejoined the G&I team. As a big lover of Christmas, and of course supporter of all things G&I flavoured, I visited the White Christmas Fair last December. It was inspiring to see Emma Jane’s long held dream of organising a Christmas event, just as her mother has done for many years in Spain, come true so beautifully and perfectly.
Fast forward a year, and I am now a full-time G&I girl and event managing the second White Christmas Fair with Emma Jane!! At the G&I HQ we are fully embracing the festive season and are very much looking forward to our first mulled wine – we might have already been snacking on mince pies!
In the spirit of giving at the festive time of year, here are my top three things not-to-miss at the White Christmas Fair:
The boulevard of real Christmas trees. The venue will have a tree-lined entrance to greet visitors to TestBed1. Choose your tree and receive a £5 discount PLUS get it delivered and installed in your home for FREE! Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, how lovely art thou branches!
My motto in life is: “I eat, therefore I am”, so I am particularly looking forward to many food and drink choices at the Fair. There will be delicious, freshly baked pizza, salami, parmesan, pecorino, brownies, Christmas cake and other such treats for the tongue. Quench your thirst with a festive gingerbread smoothie, mulled wine & hot toddies from Doodle Bar, or some Dodd’s gin from the local distillery.
Pop into the London Distillery Company who will be giving tours around the distillery throughout the weekend – tastings included, then sit back and relax at Uffizi’s pop-up Blow Bar (only open on Sunday 7th Dec) and get your hair Christmas-party-ready!
I am so happy and proud to be a part of this event, and if I could my favourite things at the Fair list would be endless, but you can find out more on the website, see the beautiful selection of gift stalls we have arranged to come to the event on Pinterest and follow the official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles to keep abreast of all the updates ahead of this wonderful festive event.
See you there!
